daddy's company hosted a night at a minor league baseball game...food, baseball game, FIREWORKS...except, you two didn't like the food, were not super interested in the ball game, and the FIREWORKS (that we had talked about all week..."we're going to see FIREWORKS!!!") were not after the game we were watching but the game the next night. but you two? you are super good at making the best of a less than hoped for situation...you two had a GREAT time!!!
we found this inflatable slide...YAY, an inflatable slide...that'll keep you occupied and happy. except, they were charging $1 PER SLIDE. yes, every time down the slide was a dollar. you went once...well, Jackson, you sneaked twice...once paid for, the next time under the guise of helping your sister up the stairs. heeheehee!
so a free baseball game ended up costing $4 for two slides down the slide and one go around on a janky, old merry-go-round, $6 for a small bag of cotton candy, $5 tip for the balloon guy...and another $2 tip for the balloon guy when your sword, Jackson, popped...
it was fun. you were entertained and entertaining...made a few friends...got dirty...and went home hopped up on sugar...not a bad way to spend a Friday night.
